Piotr Zielinski has echoed Inter president Beppe Marotta's call for improved European performances this season, following the club's domestic double in 2025-26.
Under coach Cristian Chivu, the Nerazzurri secured the Serie A title and Coppa Italia, but suffered a shock early exit from the Champions League at the hands of Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the play-off round.
Speaking at Inter's pre-season camp in Germany, the Polish midfielder admitted the focus is now on continental success.
"Our ambitions are high, we want to repeat our success in Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and add a little something extra in the Champions League," Zielinski told reporters. "We have a great team and we must do better in Europe. The President is right, it's a priority."
Zielinski's comments come just weeks after Marotta publicly stated that Inter's objective this season is to challenge in Europe, having already established domestic dominance.
The Nerazzurri begin their Serie A title defence next month, with the Champions League campaign kicking off in September.
