Manchester United’s recruitment radar widens

Manchester United’s transfer planning is moving in multiple directions as the club looks to reshape the squad with a blend of upside and immediate impact. With Old Trafford decision-makers exploring attacking reinforcements, a new name has surfaced in their thinking: Chelsea teenager Tyrique George.

Tyrique George on United’s youth-focused list

At 19, George fits the profile United have often targeted when attempting to refresh the squad—young, technically gifted, and with room to develop. The winger has not been a regular starter at Stamford Bridge recently, operating more on the fringes, and that situation is believed to have alerted rival clubs.

United’s interest would be consistent with a broader strategy of adding emerging talent while keeping an eye on cost efficiency in a market where established forwards command huge fees. Whether Chelsea would be willing to do business with a direct competitor remains a separate question, but United are understood to be monitoring the player’s status closely.

Leão and Ndiaye also in the frame

While George represents a developmental option, United are also looking at more established attackers. AC Milan star Rafael Leão remains one of the standout wide threats in European football—capable of turning games with pace, power and end product. Any move for the Portugal international would be ambitious and expensive, yet his profile matches United’s need for proven quality in the final third.

Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye has also been cited as a potential target. Ndiaye’s versatility across the front line and his ability to carry the ball through pressure make him an attractive proposition for clubs seeking greater dynamism. For United, he would offer a different type of forward option—more about intensity and direct running than headline-grabbing star power.

Juventus circle as striker market shifts

Elsewhere, the dominoes at centre-forward continue to wobble into place. Randal Kolo Muani may have found the net in Tottenham Hotspur’s midweek win over Eintracht Frankfurt, but his long-term prospects in north London appear far from settled.

Kolo Muani’s Spurs stay in doubt

Despite that goal, the France international’s loan spell has not fully caught fire, and his output has been modest. With Tottenham still assessing their plans, Juventus are reportedly attentive to the situation and could consider bringing him back to Turin for a second stint if the conditions align.

Zirkzee also on Juventus’ shortlist

Juventus’ search does not stop there. Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee is also being viewed as a possible route to strengthening the No.9 position. The Dutchman has struggled to convince that he will be a consistent Premier League goalscorer, and the suggestion is he could be available during the current window.

If Juventus decide to move, they will be weighing profiles: Kolo Muani as a more explosive, transitional threat, and Zirkzee as a link-forward option who can connect play—but needs goals to follow.
