Lazio have identified Fluminense centre-forward John Kennedy as a summer transfer target, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The Brazilian striker has also been monitored by English clubs Watford and Wolves, but Lazio are now pushing to bring the 24-year-old to the Serie A.

Sky Sport Italia claim Lazio have set their sights on Fluminense centre-forward John Kennedy, but face competition from Premier League sides Watford and Wolves, who have also shown interest.

Kennedy, a product of Fluminense’s youth academy, has impressed with his physical presence and goal-scoring ability in the Campeonato Brasileiro. His performances have attracted attention from Europe, with Lazio emerging as the latest suitor.

The Biancocelesti are looking to strengthen their attacking options under manager Maurizio Sarri, and Kennedy fits the profile of a mobile, powerful forward. However, it remains to be seen whether Lazio can fend off competition from English clubs and agree a fee with Fluminense, who value the player at around €15 million.

Watford and Wolves had previously been credited with scouting Kennedy extensively, but Lazio’s interest could accelerate a transfer. No official bid has been submitted yet, but talks are expected in the coming days as the Rome club prepare for the 2026/27 campaign.
