Fiorentina's Busy Window
Atta is not the only new face at the Artemio Franchi. The club are also on the verge of sealing a loan for Alex Jimenez from Bournemouth, with the defender currently suspended by his parent club pending an investigation into social media allegations.
However, their pursuit of forward Tolu Arokodare hit a snag after Wolves rejected an initial offer from the Viola, leaving the striker's future uncertain.
"Arthur is a player we have admired for a long time. His qualities fit our philosophy perfectly," said Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Pradè in an official statement.
Atta is expected to join his new teammates for pre-season training this week.
