Arsenal have completed the signing of teenage Danish goalkeeper Isabella Damm from Brøndby IF on a permanent transfer.
The 18-year-old joins the Gunners after impressing on trial last season and will wear the number 40 shirt. She becomes the third goalkeeper in Renee Slegers' squad, alongside Daphne van Domselaar and Anneke Borbe.
"I'm so proud to be joining Arsenal and I can't wait to get started," Damm said. "Arsenal is a great club and I'm excited to develop as a player and as a person here, and help the club achieve more success. I've had the experience of training here before and I know the environment is the right one for me to progress in."
Manager Renee Slegers hailed Damm's potential: "Isabella is an exciting young goalkeeper with a strong foundation to build on. Her technical ability, composure and bravery are already clear, and she has a high ceiling for growth and progression."
Arsenal's director of women's football Clare Wheatley added: "We're really pleased to bring Isabella to the club. She's a player we've been monitoring for some time and we believe she's one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe in her age group."
Arsenal's goalkeeping depth bolstered
With Damm's arrival, Slegers now has three goalkeepers to choose from, including Netherlands international Van Domselaar and German youngster Borbe. The signing indicates Arsenal's long-term planning, with Damm viewed as a prospect for the future.
Damm progressed through the youth ranks at Brøndby, making her first-team debut in October 2025. She has represented Denmark at under-17 and under-19 levels and will now continue her development in the Women's Super League.
